WorkNote Privacy Policy

App: WorkNote
Package: kr.omniai.worknote
Effective: June 16, 2026
Last updated: September 18, 2026 (Google Drive backup, App Open ads, widgets, attachments, reminders)

1. Overview

Omni AI Studio (“we”, “the Company”) provides the WorkNote mobile application (“the App”) and treats users’ personal information carefully in accordance with applicable laws, including Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act where relevant.

WorkNote is a local-first app: memos, groups, and most settings are stored on your device. Optional features may use the network: Google AdMob (ads), optional Google Drive backup (when you sign in), and contact/feedback forms. Memo content is not sold and is not sent to AdMob.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use the App, the following may be processed:

CategoryItems
Stored on device Memo titles, body, types, tags, metadata (due dates, reminders, repeats, etc.), checklists, local image attachments and file paths, groups, app settings (theme, language, reminder defaults, auto-backup), password verification hash (plaintext password is never stored), notification schedules, launch counters used for ad frequency, home-widget preview data written to local shared storage on the device
You send (feedback) Subject, optional email, message, service id (worknote)
You choose (backup / share) Local JSON backup files; content you share via the system share sheet or SMS; optional Google Drive backup files under a folder created by the App (e.g. worknote / date) when you sign in and run backup/restore
Ads (Google AdMob) Advertising ID, device/OS/app info, IP address, approximate location (country/region), language, ad impressions/clicks and related diagnostics (banner and App Open / opening ads)
Google account (optional Drive) Google account email you select for Drive; OAuth access limited to files the App creates (Drive scope: drive.file). We do not receive your Google password.

AdMob does not receive your memo bodies. Drive backup only runs when you enable it and authenticate.

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Core memo features: create, edit, search, groups, calendar, checklists, attachments
  • Reminders and notifications (appointments, goals, work, one-time memo alerts, repeating todos)
  • Secret memos and password verification
  • Local backup / restore and optional scheduled local auto-backup
  • Optional Google Drive backup / restore
  • Home screen widgets (quick capture, today’s list, sticky/recent preview)
  • Feedback and support
  • Showing ads via Google AdMob (banner, App Open) and measuring ad performance / fraud prevention

4. Where Data Is Stored / Processed

  1. On device: Primary data is in on-device SQLite and local files. It is not automatically uploaded to our servers.
  2. Feedback: Only when you submit Feedback/Contact, content is sent to our site (www.omniai.kr) over HTTPS.
  3. Local backup / share: Only when you act (export, import, share, SMS).
  4. Google Drive (optional): When you sign in and back up/restore, files are stored in your Google Drive account under App-created folders.
  5. AdMob: Ad-related data may be processed by Google and its partners.
  6. Widgets: Limited preview text may be stored in Android SharedPreferences on the same device for widget display.

5. Retention
