RentLedger Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 3, 2026
App name: RentLedger
Package name: kr.omniai.rentledger
1. Overview
RentLedger (the “App”) is a mobile application that helps you manage rental properties, units, tenants,
rent payments, expenses, and related records on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App and how it is handled.
The App is designed as an offline-first ledger. Core rental and tenant data you enter
is stored on your device. The App does not require an account or
sign-in to use its main features.
2. Information You Enter
You may enter and store information in the App. Only data you actually provide is created.
Examples include:
| Category | Examples |
| Identity & contact |
Tenant names, phone numbers, emergency contacts, payer display names, vendor contacts |
| Lease & property |
Property/unit details, rent, maintenance fees, deposits, contract dates, payment due days |
| Financial & transactions |
Payment and expense records, optional bank-account notes you register |
| Other |
Message drafts/history you create in the App, notification preferences, memos |
This information remains on your device under normal use of the App’s core features
(see Sections 4 and 7 for limited exceptions such as optional feedback and ads).
3. How We Use Information
Information stored in the App is used only to provide App features, including:
- Displaying and managing properties, units, and tenants
- Tracking payments, expenses, recurring expenses, statistics, and PDF/JSON exports
- Reminders/notifications and sharing message content you choose to send via your device’s apps
- Backup and restore that you initiate
We do not use your on-device ledger data for third-party marketing lists,
and we do not operate a cloud account that syncs your rental ledger by default.
4. Storage and Processing
4.1 On-device storage
- On Android, data is stored in the App’s local storage (for example, SQLite).
-
Under normal use of core features, rental/tenant ledger data is
not automatically uploaded to an operator-run central server.
4.2 Internet access
The App may include Internet permission for technical operation
(for example, WebView components, loading ads, or submitting optional feedback).
This does not mean your full ledger is automatically sent to our servers.
4.3 Backup and restore
-
If you choose Backup in Settings, a JSON file may include property, tenant,
payment, expense, and related records.
-
The file is written to a location you can access (for example, the device Documents folder).
Safeguarding exported files is your responsibility.
-
Sensitive settings such as a delete password are designed
not to be included in the backup file (depending on App version).
4.4 Sharing messages
When you use messaging features, the App may open your device’s share sheet or messaging apps
with recipients and content you selected. Delivery then follows the rules of those apps and networks.
We do not operate those third-party messaging services.
5. Permissions
Depending on device and OS version, the App may request permissions such as:
| Permission (examples) | Purpose |
| Notifications |
Show local reminders (for example, overdue notices) |
| Storage / media access (as required by OS) |
Save backup JSON or PDF files to Documents or user-selected locations |
| Battery optimization exemption |
Help scheduled local notifications run more reliably |
| Internet |
App operation, optional feedback submission, advertising |
| Advertising ID (where applicable) |
Serve and measure ads via Google AdMob |
You can change permissions in your device settings. Denying a permission may disable related features only.
6. Sharing with Third Parties
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
-
We do not place your ledger on an operator cloud for continuous sync as a default feature.
-
If you send a message or share a file, the recipients and systems you choose
(messaging apps, carriers, file managers, email, etc.) may process that content.
- Advertising and optional feedback are described in Sections 7 and 10.
7. Feedback / Feature Requests
If you use Feedback / feature request in Settings, content you enter may be sent to
a server we operate so we can receive inquiries and improve the App.
-
Data you may submit: subject (required), email, contact number, message body
(only what you enter)
-
Transmission: HTTPS to an inquiry API on the
www.omniai.kr domain
-
Purpose: handling feedback, reviewing improvement requests, and contacting you if needed
-
Retention: inquiries are stored separately from your on-device ledger and are retained
according to our internal needs and applicable law, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed
-
This function runs only when you choose to submit. It does not automatically upload your rental database.
8. Deletion
-
You may delete or edit records in the App, use “Clear all data” (or similar) in Settings,
or uninstall the App to remove on-device App data (some residual files may remain depending on OS behavior).
- JSON backups and PDFs you exported remain until you delete those files yourself.
- To request deletion of feedback you previously submitted to our server, contact us using Section 12.
9. Your Choices
You can view, edit, and delete information in the App at any time.
You can stop using on-device data by clearing App data or uninstalling the App.
You can limit personalized ads in your device’s Google advertising settings where available.
10. Advertising and Third-Party SDKs
- The App may display ads via the Google AdMob SDK.
-
Google AdMob may automatically collect device and advertising identifiers and related signals
to serve and measure ads and to prevent abuse.
-
Such information may be processed by Google and advertising partners under Google’s policies.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob policies for details.
-
You may reset your advertising ID or limit ad personalization in device settings
(for example, Android → Google → Ads), depending on your device.
-
We present ads through AdMob; we are not responsible for Google’s independent data processing.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or legal requirements change.
Updates will be reflected in this document and/or via an in-app notice where appropriate.
