1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Arrow Escape (Android package kr.omniai.puzzle01, also referred to as “puzzle01”) (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.

You can play as a guest without creating an account. Optional features (leaderboard nickname, push notifications, and contact/feedback) may collect additional information only when you choose to use them.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information stored on your device

  • Game progress, local best times, and stage clear records
  • App preferences (language, optional nickname, push on/off)
  • An anonymous device identifier generated by the App for push registration

2.2 Information you provide

  • Nickname (optional): used to display your name on stage leaderboards when you choose to save a clear time to the server
  • Country code (optional/auto): may be derived from device/app locale for leaderboard display
  • Contact / Feedback: subject/title, email address, and message content (see Section 6)

2.3 Information sent to our servers when you use online features

  • Clear times and related metadata for leaderboards (e.g., stage/game identifiers, hearts lost, optional nickname/country)
  • Push registration: device ID, FCM push token, push enabled flag, optional nickname, app version
  • Level pack downloads needed to unlock later stages

2.4 Information collected by advertising partners (AdMob)

The App shows ads via Google AdMob (banner and interstitial). Google and its partners may collect device and advertising-related data as described in Section 5.

3. App Permissions

The Android App requests or may use the following permissions:

  • Internet (INTERNET) Required to download level packs, load/submit leaderboard records, register push tokens, show online ads, and send contact/feedback requests.
  • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) Used only if you turn on Notifications in Settings. Allows the App to show push messages about new stages, events, and updates. You can turn this off at any time in the App or in system settings.
  • Advertising ID (via Google Mobile Ads / Play services) AdMob and Google Play services may use the device advertising ID to serve and measure ads, subject to your device’s ad personalization settings.

The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, photos, or SMS.

4. How We Use Information

  • Provide core gameplay, progress saving, and local records
  • Operate optional leaderboards and nickname display
  • Deliver optional push notifications you enable
  • Respond to contact/feedback submissions
  • Serve and measure advertisements (through AdMob)
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display banner ads and interstitial (full-screen) ads. Interstitials may appear before certain game starts according to the App’s ad schedule.

AdMob may process information such as:

  • Device identifiers (including advertising ID)
  • IP address and approximate location derived from IP
  • Device and app technical data (model, OS version, app version)
  • Ad interaction and performance data

Google’s use of information is governed by Google’s policies, including:

You can limit personalized ads through your device settings (for example, Android “Ads” / “Delete advertising ID” or similar options, depending on OS version) and Google’s ad settings.

6. Contact / Feedback Requests

When you use Contact / Feedback in Settings, the App sends the following information to https://www.omniai.kr/api/user-requests:

  • name — the subject/title you enter
  • email — the email address you enter (so we can reply)
  • message — the content of your inquiry or improvement request
  • service — fixed value puzzle01 (identifies this App)

We use this information only to review and respond to your request and to improve the App. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal data in the message field.

7. Sharing of Information

  • Service operators / hosting for omniai.kr API and feedback intake
  • Google AdMob / Google for advertising
  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging when push notifications are enabled (token delivery)

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

8. Data Retention

  • Local game data remains on your device until you clear App data or uninstall
  • Server leaderboard and account-related records are retained while needed to operate rankings and anti-abuse controls
  • Feedback submissions are retained as needed to handle your request and for internal service records
  • Push tokens are updated or disabled when you turn notifications off or reinstall

9. Children

The App is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of selling it. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through feedback, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Your Choices

  • Play without setting a nickname or submitting leaderboard scores
  • Enable or disable push notifications in Settings
  • Adjust device ad personalization / advertising ID settings
  • Clear App storage or uninstall to remove local data
  • Contact us to request correction or deletion of server-side data where applicable

11. International Processing

Servers and advertising partners may process data in countries other than your country of residence. By using online features of the App, you understand that such transfers may occur under applicable provider terms.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you acknowledge the revised policy.
