1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how MD Viewer
(“the App”, package ID kr.omniai.md), operated by
OmniAI Studio, handles information when you use the App on Android.
MD Viewer is a Markdown viewer and editor. Your document contents are processed on your device for viewing, editing, PDF export, and sharing that you initiate. We do not operate a cloud account system for storing your Markdown files.
2. Information we process
2.1 On-device data
- Markdown files and related paths that you open, create, edit, scan, or import — stored and indexed locally (including an on-device database/cache) so the App can list and reopen files.
- App settings such as language, theme, and auto-save preferences — stored locally on your device.
We do not upload the contents of your Markdown documents to our servers as part of normal viewing or editing.
2.2 Contact / Feedback submissions
If you use Contact / Feedback in Settings, the information you enter is sent to Omni AI Studio servers so we can respond and improve the App.

Please do not include sensitive personal data, passwords, or confidential document contents in the message unless necessary for support. We use this information only to handle your request and related product improvement.
2.3 Sharing you initiate
If you share Markdown text or a PDF via the system share sheet, the shared content is delivered to the app or service you choose. That destination’s privacy policy applies.
3. Android permissions
The App requests the following permissions. Access is used only for the stated purposes.

Optional full-device scan and broader file access so the App can locate Markdown files across storage. Granted only if you allow it in system settings. You can deny this and still use the App with files you open or grant individually. |
On newer Android versions, file access may also use the Storage Access Framework (folder/file pickers) without granting all-files access.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App may show banner and interstitial ads using Google AdMob. Ad serving may involve Google collecting or receiving device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, interaction with ads, and similar technical data according to Google’s policies.

Ads help keep the App available. You may control personalized ads through your device’s advertising / Google account settings where available.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data retention
- On-device data remains on your device until you delete files, clear app data, or uninstall the App.
- Contact / Feedback submissions are retained as needed to process your request and for reasonable operational records, then deleted or anonymized when no longer necessary.
- Ad-related data is processed by Google under its retention practices.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information submitted through Contact / Feedback (for example, HTTPS transmission). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your choices
- Deny or revoke storage / all-files permissions in system settings.
- Avoid submitting Contact / Feedback if you do not wish to share that information.
- Uninstall the App to remove local app data (subject to OS behavior).
- Adjust ad personalization settings on your device / Google account.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will be revised when changes are posted.
